A good night sleep keeps you healthy, alert and confident all day. Some of us believe that we can achieve or accomplish more by spending less time sleeping, but improper or limited sleep decrease our Performance and Productivity. Stress will develop as haven’t made yourself relax. Peace of mind is more important than anything in life. Some people just sleep for 4-5 hours and are alert and healthy all day. Some will sleep more than 7 hours and are still sleepy and lazy. This change is because the first type of people, though sleep very less enjoy their sleep by evacuating their minds and filling them with their past achievements and success. The second type is the one who won’t evacuate his mind and don’t sleep in peace.

- Maintain a regular bed and wake time schedule, including weekends.
- Establish a relaxing bedtime routine, such as soaking in a hot bath or hot tub and then reading a book or listening to soothing music.
- Create a sleep-conducive environment that is dark, quiet, comfortable and cool.
- Sleep on a comfortable mattress and pillow.
- Use your bedroom only for sleep. It is best to take work materials, computers and televisions out of the sleeping environment.
- Finish eating at least two to three hours before your regular bedtime.
- Exercise regularly. It is ideal to complete your workout at least a few hours before bedtime.
- Avoid alcohol, nicotine (e.g., cigarettes, tobacco products), and caffeine (e.g., coffee, tea, soft drinks, chocolate) close to bedtime. These can lead to poor sleep, keep you awake or disrupt sleep later in the night.
